Set up your journal
Install Reflect Day, connect your Google Drive, and write your first entry.
1. Give your journal a place
Install Reflect on your own phone or computer so it has its own icon and window. The button below shows the steps for your device.
2. Connect your Google Drive
Open the installed app and sign in with Google. Reflect stores your entries on your device and syncs them to a private app folder in your own Google Drive. There is no separate Reflect account.
Use the same Google account on your other devices to reach the same journal. Your journal uses space in that Google Drive.
3. Write something you want to keep
Open a new entry and write as much or as little as you like. You can add a photo or a voice note. Mood, tags, and location are optional.
There’s no minimum length and no requirement to write every day. The journal is there when you have something to say.
Already keeping a journal?
Use import in Settings to bring entries from Apple Journal, Journey, or a previous Reflect export. Keep the original export until you have checked that your entries arrived as expected.
Before you go
Let your entries finish syncing before clearing any app or browser data. When you write offline, those new entries are only on that device until they sync.
